ART
Beginning Drawing Workshop Fee $90
Ages 4 – 6 3:15 – 4:00 pm OAK Hall Cofrin Theatre
Children will fall in love with drawing as they use pencils, crayons, and markers to learn basic drawing principles. The students will encounter a wide variety of drawing experience from music inspired art to observing live animals.
Beginning Painting Workshop Fee $90
Ages 7 – 11 4:00 – 4:45 pm OAK Hall Cofrin Theatre
Students will explore colors, shapes, and design while learning a variety of painting techniques. this is a great follow-up class to Beginning painting.
Mirroring Masters Workshop Fee $90
Ages 7 – 11 4:45 – 5:15 pm OAK Hall Cofrin Theatre
Step into the minds of the masters and learn the techniques that made them famous. Explore the worlds of Monet, Picasso, and many more as you create your own works of art.
MUSIC
Voice Studio Workshop Fee $99 Sueli Cavalcanti
Ages 5-8 4:00 – 5:00 pm OAK HALL Music Room
Voice classes are designed for the young singer looking to gain experience and basic technique. A wide-ranging repertoire will be studied in this class which focuses on the fundamentals of breathing, vowel placement, sight reading and ear training.
Voice Studio 2 Workshop Fee $99 Sueli Cavalcanti

For those students with prior voice or choral training looking to advance their vocal skills.
PRIVATE ACTING Lessons
Private Acting Lessons with Dr. William Eyerly
LIMITED – call for availability -
Develop a screen test reel for film and TV, polish that audition monologue, or learn to successfully perform your musical theatre number. Dr. Eyerly will give you the personal instruction you need to get the part and take your performance to the next level.
45 minutes $40 All Private Lessons meet once per week & are payable in advance each month to GACA.

ACTING
Act up! Teen Drama Workshop Fee $110 Dr. William Eyerly
Middle School 4:30 – 5:45 pm Oak Hall’s Cofrin Theatre
The Act up! ensemble features intensive improv workshops as well as acting for
stage AND film. Students will have the opportunity to film screen tests and the best will be selected for submission to casting directors for Nickelodeon.

ART
Print-A-Paint Workshop Fee $90
Ages 4 – 7 3:45 – 4:30 pm Littlewood Art Room
Kids will be using painting and printmaking, two mediums which encourage them to stretch their creativity. We’ll be printing with found objects as well as bars of soap, erasers, melted crayons, vegetables and perhaps the simplest tool of all, our fingers!! We will also be exploring patterns, shapes, and textures through various painting techniques. By merging printmaking and drawing, our workshop will be filled with spontaneous works of art.
Papier-Mache Workshop Fee $90
Ages 7 – 11 4:35 – 5:15 pm Littlewood Art Room
Paper and paste are all you will need in exploring and creating with this outstanding material. Whether it be small, crazy, functional or not, the things that can be made with papier-mache are endless. Another great characteristic is that it is a great way to recycle. We will be creative with our materials and use items that might otherwise end in the garbage. The finished pieces will not only open our minds to inventive ways of viewing every day things but we can enjoy them around us as our own creations.

Beginning Ballet Workshop Fee $90 Howard Anderson

This class is for the older beginning student or those student ready to move on from Pre-Ballet class. Mr. Anderson has been classically trained and danced with Disney & Dance Theatre of Santa Fe College.
Hip Hop Workshop Fee $90 Howard Anderson
Ages 7 & up 4:45 – 5:30 pm Littlewood Multipurpose Room
Learning the latest dance moves as you develop choreography for the latest grooves. GACA is a family arts organization so we keep the lyrics squeaky clean in every fresh mix of music.

Art Sparks Workshop Fee $90

Great class for the budding artist who can’t get enough of paining.e Ages 4class for the budding artist3:15 – can’t get enough of painting. Follow along with the teacher as you create your own masterpiece using vivid colors and learn about brushes and paint mixing.
Ecology Crafts For Kids Workshop Fee $90
Ages 7-11 4:00 – 4:45 pm OAK HALL THEATRE
Use recycled, reused, or materials that can be found in nature, without harming our environment. By studying plants and animal (including human) interaction we can create art that can harmoniously exist in nature.
Paper Crafts Workshop Fee $90
Ages 9-12 4:45 – 5:30 pm OAK HALL THEATRE
In this class we will be making objects out of paper by playing around with various folding and mixing techniques. This would include origami, jewelry, baskets, cards, shadow puppets, glow lamps, dolls, boxes, boats, kites… and lots more! Join us in expanding our imagination by working with a very simple material that has huge potential.

Beginning Drum Set & Percussion Workshop Fee $110 Tobin Wagstaff
Ages 7 & up 5:30-6:30pm Studio Percussion
Learn drums from the pros at Studio Percussion. This workshop will feature an introduction to drums and percussion focusing on the basic drum set. Bring your own sticks. Workshop fee includes music book.
Piano Adventurer Workshop Fee $90 Sueli Cavalcanti

Play games and break out the markers! This class is designed for the younger beginner. Students will be introduced to rhythms, dynamics, technique and key names while playing a variety of songs. Must purchase and bring My First Piano adventure lesson Book a and My First Piano adventure writing Book a by Nancy and Randell Faber back to class.

An introduction to the piano for those just starting out. Students will be introduced to basic rhythms, keyboard technique, and treble and bass clef note reading. Must purchase and bring the (primer level) Piano adventures Theory Book and the Piano adventures lesson Book by Nancy and Randell Faber to class.

Animal Creations Workshop Fee $90
Ages 8 and up 3:00 – 3:45 pm Littlewood Art room
Learn to draw some of the most endearing animal figures-horses, dogs, cats and wild animals! Use colored pencils to shape and shade, with special attention to perspective and bringing sparkle to the eyes.
Wildlife Drawing Workshop Fee $90
Ages 6 – 10 3:45 – 4:45 pm Littlewood Art Room
For the budding artist. Learn to sketch wildlife in their natural surroundings using a variety of source material, with colored pencils.
Art Animals Attack! Workshop Fee $90
Ages 8 and up 4:45 – 5:45pm Littlewood Art Room
A master drawing class for the more advanced student will teach more advanced drawing skills using a variety of animals as subjects. Class will demonstrate the elements and principles of art.

If your child has progressed through GACA’s small group lessons and has a continuing interest in the piano, Dr. Deall is now offering individual lessons through GACA.
Prices for all private sessions are as follows:

Fun costumes, magical stories and games galore are all part of this wonderful introduction to the stage. Budding actors create their own characters from folk and fairy tales to create imaginative stories that are uniquely their own.

Take your acting to a whole new level with improv skits, games, and warm-ups from the world of theatre. Every class is like creating a new show and the laughs just keep coming as actors work out new scenes using zany characters and situations.

Explore the world’s best known playwright, William Shakespeare in this exciting class. Students will be working on some of Shakespeare’s most famous works including “Hamlet,” “Macbeth,” “Romeo and Juliet,” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Klay Kids I Workshop Fee $90

younger children will enjoy mashing and molding to make their slab of clay come to life! Children will be proud to display their final, painted creations in this class!
Klay Kids II Workshop Fee $90

The older student will learn sculpting techniques and make their own clay projects in this class. Learn to use a variety of painting techniques and other media to make your creation shine.

Guitar Workshop Fee $110 Ryan Murray Studio Percussion

This new and exciting class offered by studio percussion will help your young musician learn the basics and fundamentals of playing the guitar. Studio Percussion will provide guitars for students to use during class time, so purchasing a guitar for home use is optional!
