The Florida Voices Book Fair honors the profession of writing and is formatted to allow authors to meet their reading public in an informal setting.
Applications for participation must be received by June 1, 2008.
Featuring mystery authors Carolina Garcia-Aguilera, Vicki Hendricks, Neil Plakcy, James O. Born, and Elaine Viets.
Opening the 2008 Florida Voices Book Fair on Friday, August 15, a panel with the featured authors will speak about their work, answer questions from the audience, read from their work, and sign books. Each authors work defines a separate aspect of the mystery genre. Between them, they have published thirty books.

The featured authors will speak on Friday night, August 15th, 2008, from 7 pm to 9 pm.
Then all the Florida authors, including the featured authors will be present at the book fair Saturday, August 16th, 2008, from 10 am to 4 pm.
